With their 6th album "Psychomania" the Ben Wood Inferno draws wildest rock'n'rollcollages in anti-pastel.
The triumvirate celebrates in a diversity of synths-sounds combining the trademark BWI garage-rock'n'roll with bulks of newwave- and protopunk elements.
Again recorded at LW Sonics Studios Vienna with producer Lucas Wiltschko ("Young Nails", Albert Lee) and including conveted guestmusicians, e.g. Sebastian Jiro Schlecht ("Get Well Soon", "The Shanes"), Vera Mohrs ("Veras Kabinett") and Sonja Maier ("Baits").
You better not miss this flickering feast of unrepentant rock'n'roll din!!
The album tour kicks off in autumn 2022 with shows in Austria and Germany.

Digital EP 'Nachtschattenblau' - first track 'Nachtschattenblau' out now!
Yeah yeah yeah! New songs from Vero & Band and the ladies from Kato Nigra.
After the 2018 album Wolken Zucker Himmel VERO is now releasing 5 more catchy tunes with power pop and German lyrics.
Nachtschattenblau, the opener, takes the listener to the world of elegant sixties, beehives, close-fitting evening dresses, hip suits and cool dimly lit bars. Right from the first chords the song creates a cosy but dark mysterious atmosphere which would not be out of place in an early Bond movie with Sean Connery.
Aufwind is a powerful, uncommonly well crafted rock ballad. It has none of the usual sound overload or the kind of kitsch you might normally associate with the term Rock Ballad.
Wer wir sind is an outtake of the solo debut album which will make you wonder why this hit wasn't included on the original release. This song has a fresh energy that in some parts conjures up visions of The Smiths, if The Smiths had a gorgeous German singer with a twinkle in her eye!
Vero recorded the songs Sand in Sicht and Krawattenmann with her all girl band Kato Nigra. These women of rock, will crash through your front door with their trashy garage punkrock charged with a touch of L7 style heavy riffs and halftime mosh pit interludes. The lyrics refer to drummer Katrin Einhorn's novels and deliver the soundtrack for upcoming movies!
All in all a a promising intermediate message from VERO and the label Sumo Rex, hoping there will soon be a new long player album and a tour!!!

With their latest release "The Real Thing" we find the Ben Wood Inferno pirouetting at the apogee while at the same time staying sane inside insanity. Ten brandnew, dripped in curare tracks delivered in full-force scale rock'n'roll - groovier and funkier than the band has ever sounded before and topped with vocals brought to you by deafening explosions of temper.
With heartsore, love and sex as the gist of the lyrics you experience Ben Wood and this combatants spreading havoc like madly marauding Cupids. Musically the triumvirate focuses this time on the European phase of punk and rock'n'roll, venerating legends like The Damned, Jim Jones Revue or Herman Brood.
Autumn 2019 the band will present thier new album touring Germany, Austria and Japan.

Krach Capella Nigra Album Release am 22.06.2018
Am 22. Juni ist es endlich soweit: Krach Capella Nigra bringen ihr erstes Album raus! Etwa drei Jahre sind vergangen von den allerersten Anfängen: Im Jahr 2015 wurden die ersten Songs geschrieben, seit Anfang 2016 steht die Band in ihrer heutigen Besetzung. Viele tolle Konzerte von Saarbrücken bis Rostock und einige schöne Stunden in den Herrensalon Studios Trier später ist es nun fertig, das Erstlingswerk. Das muss gefeiert werden! Und das wird es auch: Am 22. Juni in Lucky's Luke.
Als Support kommen die wunderbaren Two And A Half Strings, am späteren Abend gibt es noch Balkan-Beats auf die Ohren und in die Beine. Vor allem darf sich natürlich auf das Krach Capella Nigra-Tanzinferno gefreut werden, mit Einflüssen von Folk bis Punk und von der Nordsee bis an den Ural! Für alle Release-Gäste gibt es außerdem die CD zum Vorzugspreis zu kaufen. Also kommt alle vorbei, bringt eure Freund*innen und viel gute Laune mit und feiert mit uns bis es hell wird!

programmatisch-hedonistische Art, derer sich bereits die frühen Kinks, oder um es noch deutlicher zu machen: The Sonics bedienten; ein bisschen später Bob Dylan und die morbid-balladesken Momente, die uns schon ein Nick Cave schenkte.
Ohrenzauber. Wegesrandgeschichten. Gefühl. Gut und Böse. Mitunter auch schlichter akustischer Sonnenschein – so wie ein guter, mit Hitpotenzial ausgestalteter Refrain ihn nun mal mit sich bringt. Ein Potpourri des guten Geschmacks, eine Bestandsaufnahme gelebten Rock’n’Rolls, so wie man sie dieser Tage und derart sorgsam und doch roh und wild dargeboten nur höchst selten findet. All das spiegelt sich auf Vintage Hedonist auch in den glanzvoll lyrischen Texten der Songs wieder.

"Katschigari" heißt das zweite Studioalbum der
Trierer Band Ivan Ivanovich & The Kreml Krauts.
Der russische Titel, der sich auf deutsch mit "die Heizer" übersetzen lässt,
gibt dabei die Schlagrichtung vor. Seit 2007 tourt die Band durch Deutschland und
das europäische Umland und schafft es dabei mühelos, das Publikum zum Kochen zu bringen.
Die einzigartige Mischung aus Polka, Punk und russischer Folklore bringt selbst eingesessene Vertreter der Thekenkultur dazu, sich aufs Tanzparkett zu wagen. Dass diese Tanzfläche auch der eigene Küchenfußboden sein kann, beweist die Gruppe auf „Katschigari“ mit Polkakrachern wie "Ech, gari", "Tanzuj" oder "Pa darogam". Neben purer Freude am Leben bietet das Album mit stimmungsvollen Stücken wie "Sljozny wesny" und "Prasnulsja" auch einen Einblick in die Schwermütigkeit und die Melancholie der russischen Seele.
